Giving Tuesday is November 28th this year! We invite you to join this global day of giving by making a gift to Rock Point School. This year, our #GivingTuesday campaign will be led by the indomitable Kelly Hedley ‘03.

Kelly first came to know Rock Point in 1999 when she started her freshman year at RPS. Throughout her adulthood, she has stayed connected with the school, staff, and fellow alumni. Heather, her best friend from her years at Rock Point, is still her best friend, and they talk on the phone daily. Kelly's bond to RPS came full circle when she advocated with her local school district for her son Chace to become a student here. He is currently a third-year student at Rock Point School.

Kelly and her three sons live 45 minutes south of RPS in Bristol, Vermont, where she and her family are incredibly involved in their community. After Kelly's journey led to Chace attending Rock Point, she began helping others advocate for their children to access more supportive educational settings. She has now helped nearly 100 families and their children navigate educational advocacy and special education all over the state, working closely with local organizations as well as speaking publicly on the topic.

Kelly says Chace's story is a testament to what finding and accessing the best learning environment can do for a child. In the next week, she looks forward to telling you more about how being an RPS student herself gave her the tools and knowledge to help others find schools where their children can thrive.

Last year, our amazing community raised over $50,000 for our Giving Tuesday campaign! With your help, we are hoping to beat that record this year and make Rock Point School accessible for more students like Kelly and Chace.
