Sometimes being successful means trying something new, conquering a fear, or experiencing joy. - Rock Point School offers warm, supportive, experiential learning, combined with clear boundaries and expectations to make this a safe place for your client to become their best self at their own pace.
- The School practices a collaborative team approach for students who need additional supports, including for example, the coordination of weekly video appointments with home-based therapists, participation in out-of-classroom youth development activities such as the Chill Program, or other community-based supports.
- The Academic Program provides a college-preparatory education that focuses on helping students grow as learners. With 4-10 students in a class, no student can hide in the back row.
- The School is located in a rich environment for place-based education. Our classrooms expand to include our 115-acre lakeside property, the vibrant city of Burlington, and Vermont in general.
