Physics class builds a catapult

catapult-2Building a catapult was an exciting time for all of us! It was great to learn about forces and materials with a hands-on application. We didn't achieve the launch velocity we were hoping for ... but even that was a good lesson about the real trial-and-error nature of applied science.
