Stowe trip a snowy success

stowe-trip-feb14-1We just got back from an all-day trip to Stowe, Vermont.

The usual reason to head up the mountain road to Stowe on a day of blue skies and snow-white landscapes is to hit the slopes with skis and boards. But, today, we went up there for a different reason: to see a marionette production of the beautiful story, "The Man Who Planted Trees."

And, while we were there, we stopped by the Vermont Ski and Snowboard Museum, which was a fascinating blast from the past for many of our avidly skiing and boarding students.

It was a beautiful day and a great chance to appreciate some of the opportunities that living in Vermont puts right on our doorstep.
