Thanks to everyone who came out for our Maple 5k Run this weekend! The morning of the race was chilly, but dry - perfect weather for a race. With over 40 racers of all ages, the competition was fun and positive. We were very impressed with the race winner, Nick Kidder, who finished in 19:34!
Each racer got to taste our maple candy, and many runners won raffle prizes including RPS maple syrup, homemade cookies, running accessories from Fleet Feet, and gift cards from Phoenix Books. Fleet Feet and Phoenix Books are generous sponsors and we appreciate their donations!
This year, race proceeds went to benefit United Help Ukraine, an organization providing medical care and humanitarian relief to Ukrainians in the war zone. We are so grateful to the runners, and those who donated above and beyond to make our collective donation $1,000 for this important cause.
