We are thrilled to introduce our new staff! While Mo, our new office administrator, joined us for training starting in June, our three newest staff members began training in mid-August. It is wonderful to have their energy and enthusiasm on our team and we can't wait for them to dive into the school year with our students.

Solenne Abaziou (left) is our new Math teacher. Solenne recently moved back to Vermont after a brief time living in Florida. She is originally from France, but attended college and graduate school at McGill in Montreal where she became more familiar with Vermont. Solenne has over 15 years of teaching experience in various settings and enjoys helping students of all abilities learn to appreciate math.

David Chodakewitz (center) is a new Residential Staff, living in the dorm. After graduating from Brown University in 2015, David worked with young people in a wide range of settings, at both outdoor and indoor education organizations throughout New England. David is excited to share his love of hiking with students this fall.

Lydia Schuldt (right) came to Rock Point after leading a service trip for teenagers in Vietnam. After graduating from the University of Connecticut, she worked in Wilderness Therapy programs in Utah and Oregon and is excited to be back on the East Coast. Lydia will be living in the dorm and can't wait to get to know our students and take them skiing.

Our students arrive on Sunday and we are excited for them to meet these fabulous new staff members!
