Every year we look forward to our summer session, a time when we get to slow down a bit and enjoy our property and Vermont in the summertime. Please check out more details in our Summer Session section.
Our summer session is six weeks. Students are welcome to attend all six weeks or plan a shorter session. The last week of the summer, students will set out on an excursion to hike the Long Trail or explore Canada. If a student is not interested in one of those trips, they can sign up for the five week session. Of course, to get the full benefit of the session, we recommend attending for the full six weeks.
|Full Session||July 5 - August 12|
|Five Week||July 5 - August 4|
We welcome students new to the school to apply to our summer session, whether or not they plan to stay for the regular session in the fall. Please follow the general admission procedure outlined in the How to Apply section.
Currently enrolled students who wish to enroll in the summer session should contact Hillary Kramer.
We conduct rolling admissions for the summer session, but it is a popular program and spaces do fill up. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of tuition is required to hold your spot. Although it is rolling admission, we recommend submitting this deposit by the priority enrollment deadline of March 15.
If you are interested in a shorter session (3 weeks), that is possible and tuition rates can be determined.
Scholarship: Limited need-based scholarship funding is available for the summer session. Please contact Hillary Kramer, Director of Admissions, for details.
Please note: The summer session is an integrated program, with evening and weekend activities supporting daytime academic work. Because of this, we generally offer it as a boarding program only. However, if you live locally and are interested in arranging a day student program, this may be possible depending on needs and availability. Please contact us to discuss.
